FDIC insurance only covers up to $100,000 per account. If
you have over $100k, the difference is not FDIC insured. With
the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service®, your
investment will be spread out with several banks to assure
that it is FDIC insured, but you will receive one consolidated
statement and have one point of contact.
