401(k)/Retirement Services
These services have been a specialty of Alan B. Lancz & Associates, Inc. (ABL) for the past two decades. We have assisted clients
with decisions concerning type of plan, from defined benefit plans to 401(k), 403(b), employee stock ownership
and profit sharing plans, as well as plan administration options to maximize benefits and lower overall costs. Investment management
and fund selection are key to the success of the plan - and the full resources of ABL are at your disposal in this regard. Our goal is to assist you
with all aspects of your fiduciary responsibilities while promoting plan participation, identifying and reducing expenses,
and optimizing both the mix and returns for each participant.
Being independent gives ABL the flexibility to offer a multitude of transparent retirement platforms, fully disclosing all fees
and costs associated to the plan. By exposing and then reducing much of the internal plan costs, employers avoid paying retirement plan
costs with pre-tax monies while enjoying better performance potential for all participants since more of each contribution is working for each account. If you are

Sample commentary regarding 401K's - Sound Investing Basics
Excerpt from The Lancz Letter - September 10, 2008
Yesterday, the Russian stock market plunged to more than two year lows after having its worst two day period in over seven years. For our 401k clients and subscribers,
we have been recommending avoiding these high risk areas, but long term aggressive investors can utilize current weakness to gradually get back into emerging markets
(with very limited exposure). This is the same strategy we utilized with the financials and REITs 16 months ago and this year we have been using panic sellers to gradually
re-establish exposure. These markets are so volatile that it will continue to be critical to remain disciplined and take advantage of the swings in both directions, but selectively buying into current sizeable weakness seems prudent.
Excerpt from LanczGlobal.com Member's Only - June 29, 2009
LanczGlobal has not only been realizing partial profits since the early part of June, but also recommends upgrading overall portfolios to reduce risk and become more defensive.
While we are seeing the signs of the eventual ending of the financial crisis, LanczGlobal believes that the "green shoots" theorists are once again jumping on a hopeful bandwagon
that will prove disappointing. Investors chasing stocks here do not understand the long term consequences of these bailouts and stimulus plans, and are looking at historical measures
in what is a changed financial world.
